How to Preview an MPC Link Before Sharing It

Check exactly what your client will see before you send an MPC link — three ways to preview and two views explained.

Written by Umme Saira

Before sending an MPC link to a client, previewing it lets you verify exactly what they'll see — so you can catch errors, confirm candidate details, and present yourself professionally.

Three ways to preview an MPC link

  1. During link creation
When you create an MPC link, a Preview link button appears at the bottom of the creation panel. Click it to see the link before saving or sharing.

  2. While drafting your pitch email
After clicking Create and Share with contacts, you'll land on the email drafting screen. A preview option is available here so you can check the link one more time before sending.

  3. From Settings, any time after creation
Go to Settings → CRM Settings and click any MPC link in the list to preview it at any point.

Two preview modes

The preview shows one of two views depending on how you plan to share the link:

Anonymous view
This is what a client sees when you share the link by copying and pasting it into an external channel — iMessage, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, etc. The client isn't identified in your CRM, so no action buttons appear.

Client view
This is what a client sees when you send the link through Recruiterflow via email or a campaign. Because the client is tracked, they'll see the Like, Decline, and Comment action buttons.

Note: The preview link is for internal use only — action buttons are disabled so you can't accidentally submit feedback on your own link.

Things to know

  • Always preview after updating candidate profiles on an existing MPC link — the link reflects real-time data, but it's worth confirming your changes look right.

  • For new or high-value clients, previewing before every send is good practice.

  • When including MPC links in bulk email campaigns, preview each link individually to catch any personalization issues.
