How to Build a Campaign Around MPC and Track Its Performance

Add Most Placeable Candidates (MPC) links to a contact campaign to pitch your top candidates to many clients at once, then track who's interested.

Written by Kanishk Sharma

Most Placeable Candidates (MPC) is a fast, proven way to pitch your strongest candidates to clients — whether you're filling an urgent role, marketing standout talent, or introducing newly available candidates. By adding MPC links to a campaign, you can pitch to many contacts at once and track exactly who's interested.

This article walks through building a campaign around an MPC link and measuring its performance.

Step 1: Create the MPC link

Identify the top candidates you want to pitch, build your MPC link with everything a client needs to evaluate them, and click Create and copy link.

Step 2: Add the link to a contact campaign

Go to Campaigns and either create a new Contact campaign or edit an existing one. Paste the MPC link into an email step and it will be shared with every contact in the campaign.

If you add the link by editing an existing campaign, only contacts added after the change will receive the email with the link.

Step 3: Track views and opens

Each contact gets a unique version of the link, so you can see who viewed it, how many times, and when. Go to Settings > CRM Settings and click the Opens number next to your MPC link to see the full view log.

Use those signals to follow up with the contacts who showed the most interest — and to refine future pitches.

Example

You've just signed a senior data scientist who's open to new roles. Build an MPC link featuring her, drop it into a contact campaign targeting 30 hiring managers in your network, and send. Two days later the view log shows three contacts opened it multiple times. Those three go to the top of your follow-up list — you're reaching out to warm interest instead of cold-pitching all 30.

Why pitch MPC through campaigns?

  • Pitch top candidates to many clients at once, widening your reach and improving placement odds.

  • Send tailored candidate lists to specific clients based on their hiring needs.

  • Introduce newly available candidates to keep clients aware of fresh talent.

  • Highlight in-demand or rare skill sets to create urgency.
