When you pitch candidates to contacts, you'll often build several Most Placeable Candidates (MPC) links for different needs. But sometimes you'd rather tweak an existing link than start over — for example, when a candidate is no longer available, a contact's requirements shift, or you want to adjust the list based on feedback.
Instead of creating a new link, you can hide specific candidates from an existing MPC link and reuse it. Here's how.
Open the link's settings
Go to Settings > CRM Settings, then click the Opens number next to the MPC link you want to change.
Adjust candidate visibility
Switch to the Candidate Visibility tab. Next to each candidate name is a visibility icon — click it to show or hide that candidate:
Blue icon — the contact can see this candidate in the link.
Grey icon — the contact won't see this candidate in the link.
Your changes apply to the existing link, so anyone who opens it sees the updated list.
Example
You sent a contact an MPC link with five candidates. Two get hired elsewhere and the contact mentions they only want senior profiles. Rather than build a fresh link, open the existing one's Candidate Visibility tab, grey out the two unavailable candidates and one junior profile, and the same link now shows just the two relevant seniors — no new link, no re-sending from scratch.
Things to know
Hiding a candidate doesn't remove them from Recruiterflow or from any other MPC link — it only affects visibility on this specific link.
Because the change is applied to the existing link, contacts who already have it will see the updated list the next time they open it.
To check how the link looks before sharing it again, preview it first (see the related article below).
