Need to pull specific people out of a running campaign without stopping the whole thing? You can stop a campaign for any individual or group of recipients straight from the campaign's edit view.
How it works
Stopping the campaign for a recipient means no further sequence emails will go to that person. Their existing message history stays intact β you're just halting future sends. The campaign keeps running for everyone else.
Steps
Click Campaigns in the left-hand navigation bar.
Find the campaign you want to edit and click its name.
Open the Recipients tab inside the campaign.
Locate the recipient in the table. Click the Stop icon on the right-hand side of their row.
Repeat for every recipient you want to remove.
An example
You're running a sourcing campaign for a Senior Java Developer role. Three candidates have replied confirming they're not open to new opportunities. Open the campaign, switch to the Recipients tab, and click Stop next to each of their names. They get no further emails in the sequence, but the rest of the campaign continues uninterrupted.
Things to know
Once you stop the campaign for a recipient, they can't be re-added to the same campaign at the same sequence position. To put them through outreach again, add them to a new campaign.
Stopping the campaign only halts future sends β replies, opens, and clicks already tracked stay in the campaign's analytics.
To stop the campaign for everyone at once, pause or end the campaign at the campaign level instead.
