Who this is for: All users. Any team member who creates deals will need to select a pipeline as part of the creation flow.
When creating a new deal, you now choose which pipeline it belongs to. The pipeline you pick determines which stages are available — so the pipeline selector appears before the stage field.

Things to know
Pipeline cannot be changed after creation. The Deal Profile shows the pipeline name in the top card as a read-only field. If a deal is in the wrong pipeline, you will need to delete it and recreate it in the correct one.
The Stage dropdown only shows stages that belong to the selected pipeline. Switching pipelines resets the stage selection.
If your Admin has only created one pipeline, the pipeline selector will default to that pipeline with no other options.
Deal name defaults to the company name when creating from a Company Page, Contact Page, or Chrome Extension.
