Who this is for: All users. Admins will handle most configuration issues; recruiters may encounter view or creation issues.

Running into an issue with deal pipelines? Here are the most common problems and how to fix them.

The "Add Pipeline" button is not visible

Cause: You do not have Admin permissions on your account.

Fix: Pipeline creation is restricted to Admins. Contact your workspace Admin to create a new pipeline, or ask them to grant you Admin access if appropriate.

I cannot see CRM Settings at all

Cause: CRM Settings — including Deal Pipeline — are only visible to Admins. Non-admin users do not see this section.

Fix: Reach out to your workspace Admin.

The pipeline selector is not appearing when I create a deal

Cause: Your workspace may only have one pipeline set up. The selector still appears, but may look like a locked field with only one option.

Fix: This is expected behavior. If you need multiple pipelines, ask your Admin to create additional ones in CRM Settings → Deal Pipeline.

The stages are not showing the right options after I select a pipeline

Cause: The Stage dropdown is dependent on the selected pipeline. If you change the pipeline selection, the stage list resets and repopulates with that pipeline's stages.

Fix: Select your pipeline first, then choose the stage. If a stage you expect is not listed, check with your Admin to confirm it has been added to that pipeline in CRM Settings.

My deal is in the wrong pipeline — how do I move it?

Cause: Pipeline cannot be changed on individual deals after creation.

Fix: There is no way to move a single deal from one pipeline to another directly. Your options are:

  • Delete the deal and recreate it in the correct pipeline (deal history will be lost)

  • Ask your Admin to delete the old pipeline and use the stage migration flow to move deals in bulk

A pipeline I deleted is still showing up in filters or reports

Cause: Browser caching or a short sync delay after deletion.

Fix: Refresh the page. If it persists after a refresh, log out and log back in. If it still appears, contact support.

I tried to save a pipeline and got "Save failed. Click again on Save to retry."

Cause: A network interruption occurred during save.

Fix: Click Save again. The modal stays open with your input intact — nothing is lost. If the error persists, check your internet connection and try again.

My segment disappeared when I switched to Kanban view

Cause: The segment you were using in Table view included a Deal Pipeline filter. Kanban view only supports one pipeline at a time, so segments with pipeline filters are automatically removed when switching to Kanban.

Fix: This is expected behavior. Re-apply the Deal Pipeline quick filter in Kanban view to filter to the pipeline you want. If you need to view deals across multiple pipelines, switch to Table view.

Stage order looks different than what I set in Settings

Cause: Stage order updates from Settings are reflected across the product. If a teammate updated stage order while you were on the Deals page, you may be seeing a cached version.

Fix: Refresh the Deals page to load the latest stage order.
