Every email you log via CC or BCC ends up in one place: the Conversations tab on the candidate or contact's profile. Here's where to find it, what you'll see, and who has access.
Where to find logged emails
Open the Candidate or Contact profile in Recruiterflow.
Click the Conversations tab.
Emails logged via CC or BCC appear here alongside other logged communications.
What each logged email shows
Each logged email displays:
Subject line
Sender — the Recruiterflow user who sent it, or "External" if the From address doesn't match any user on your account
Timestamp — when the email was received by the logging address
Recipients — who was in the To and CC fields
Email body — a preview with the option to expand and read the full message
Practical example
A recruiter sends an interview confirmation to a candidate, CC'ing the logging address. The candidate replies with their availability — with the logging address still in CC. Both messages appear on the candidate's Conversations tab as a single thread: the original email plus the reply, in chronological order. A teammate can open the candidate profile and read the full exchange without asking anyone for context.
Threaded conversations
If you CC'd the logging address and the candidate or contact kept it in their reply, Recruiterflow captures that reply and displays it as part of the same thread — making it easy to follow the full conversation in one place.
BCC'd emails only capture the original outbound message — replies are not tracked. See How to Log an Email by BCC'ing the Logging Address for more detail on this distinction.
Who can see logged emails
Visibility follows the same permission rules as other logged emails in Recruiterflow:
Admins can view and delete all logged emails.
Recruiters see logged emails based on their role permission setting — either Owned records only or Everything, depending on how their workspace is configured.
Read-only users can view logged emails but won't see any delete or action buttons.
Note: Permissions are set at the workspace level by an Admin. If you're not seeing emails you expect to see, check with your Admin about your role permissions.
