Viewing Logged Emails on a Candidate or Contact Profile

Where to find CC/BCC logged emails on a candidate or contact profile — what's displayed, how threads work, and who can see what based on role permissions.

Once an email is logged via CC or BCC, it shows up in the Conversations tab on the candidate or contact's profile in Recruiterflow. Here's where to find it and what you'll see.

Where to find logged emails

  1. Open the Candidate or Contact profile in Recruiterflow.

  2. Click on the Conversations tab.

  3. Any emails logged via CC/BCC will appear here alongside other logged communications.

What each logged email shows

Each logged email displays:

  • Subject line

  • Sender - the name of the Recruiterflow user who sent it, or "External" if the sender's email doesn't match a user on your account

  • Timestamp - when the email was received

  • Recipients - who was in the To and CC fields

  • Email body - a preview with an option to expand to read the full message

Threaded conversations

If you CC'd the logging address on an email and the candidate or contact replied (also keeping the logging address in CC), the reply is captured and displayed as part of the same thread. This makes it easy to follow the full conversation without jumping between messages.

BCC'd emails only show the original outbound message, replies are not tracked. See How to Log an Email by BCC'ing the Logging Address for more on this distinction.

Who can see logged emails

Visibility for CC/BCC logged emails follows the same permission rules as other logged emails in Recruiterflow:

  • Admins can view and delete all logged emails.

  • Recruiters can view logged emails based on their role permission setting - either "Owned" records only or "Everything", depending on how their account is configured.

  • Read-only users can view logged emails but will not see any delete or action buttons.

Note: Permissions are set at the workspace level by an admin. If you're not seeing emails you expect to see, check with your admin about your role permissions.
