As your BD strategy evolves, you may need to adjust the exec titles, function, or location filters on an existing watchlist, or delete a watchlist for a company you're no longer targeting. Both actions are available from the Company profile.
How to edit a watchlist
Open the Company profile where the watchlist is set.
Find the Exec Watchlist card and click Edit Watchlist.
Update any fields - Job Titles, Function, Location, or Alert Types.
Click Save Watchlist.
A success message confirms: "Exec watchlist updated. Future alerts will reflect your new segment."
What happens to existing alerts when you edit
Editing a watchlist only affects future alerts. All previously detected exec movement alerts are retained and remain visible in the Exec Watchlist tab and on the Company profile card, regardless of whether they match your new segment definition. The card also updates to show "Last edited by [Your Name] on [Date]."
How to delete a watchlist
Open the Company profile.
Find the Exec Watchlist card.
Look for the Delete option in the edit panel.
Confirm the deletion when prompted (this requires a double confirmation)
Once deleted, Recruiterflow stops monitoring that company for future exec movements. Historical alerts linked to that watchlist remain visible in the Exec Watchlist tab with a "Watchlist deleted" label.
Things to know
Edit access required. You need edit access to the Company profile to edit or delete a watchlist. View-only users do not see the Edit or Delete buttons.
One watchlist per company. Editing updates the existing watchlist in place, it doesn't create a second one.
Deleting is permanent. Once deleted, the watchlist cannot be restored. You'd need to create a new one.
Job Titles cannot be empty. If you remove all Job Titles during an edit, Save is blocked. At least one title is required.
