Troubleshooting the Time to Scout Report

Fixes for missing data, unexpected NA values, and numbers that look wrong on the Time to Scout Report.

Written by Amogh Balikai

A hire I expected to see isn't showing up.

Check the date range first — it filters by the date the candidate was moved to Hired, not when they were added to the job. If the candidate was added during a previous open period and carried into a later one, they're intentionally excluded and shown as NA.

I'm seeing an NA bar and don't know why.

NA appears in two cases:

  1. the Job Role used for grouping has no user assigned,

  2. or the hired candidate was carried over from a prior open period.

Switch Group By to a different dimension (like Lead Owner) to see if the same hires resolve to a named group there.

The average looks too high or too low.

Confirm your Group By and Filters — a single outlier hire can swing a small group's average significantly. Switch to the Table view to see the underlying hire count next to the average; a group with only 1–2 hires is more sensitive to outliers than one with 20.

The report is loading slowly or the graph is missing.

Try narrowing to Last 30 or 90 Days first, and reach out to support if the graph still doesn't render.
