Time to Scout Report FAQ

Answers to common questions about the Time to Scout Report — access, calculation, and what counts.

Written by Amogh Balikai

Who can see the Time to Scout Report?

Anyone with access to Reports can open it. Row-level visibility follows the same job and candidate permissions you have everywhere else in Recruiterflow.

Why don't I see a job that I know had a hire on it?

Check whether the hired candidate was added during a previous open period and carried over — that candidate is excluded and shown as NA rather than attributed to the wrong window. Also confirm your date range covers the date they were moved to Hired, not when they were added.

Is Time to Scout the same as Time to Hire?

No. Time to Scout measures how fast you find the person you hire, from job open to candidate added. Time to Hire measures how long that candidate spends in your pipeline, from added to hired. See "Time to Fill vs. Time to Hire vs. Time to Scout" for the full breakdown.

Can I export this report?

Yes — download the table as-is, download the bar chart as a PNG, or download both together as a PDF, all from the report toolbar.

Can I save a filtered view?

Yes, and saved views are personal by default — they won't show up for other users unless shared.
