Using Quick Actions on a Deal

Add Note, Create Task, Send Email, Log Activity, Log Call, and AIRA from the Deal profile, and what each one auto-associates.

Written by Amogh Balikai

Quick Actions sit below the Top Card and let you log work on a deal without hunting for the right menu.

The six Quick Actions

  • Add Note — automatically associates the note with the deal, its company, and its contacts.

  • Create Task — automatically associates with the deal's company.

  • Send Email — automatically adds every associated contact with an email address to the To field. If a contact has no email, you'll see a warning naming them so you know they won't receive the message.

  • Log Activity — automatically associates contacts and company.

  • Log Call — automatically associates contacts and company.

Practical example

You just got off a call with two stakeholders on a deal. Click Log Call, both contacts and the company are already tagged, so you only need to add your notes and save.

Things to know

  • Your Admin controls which Quick Actions appear and in what order, from the layout editor.

  • The Quick Actions row can be configured to show none at all.

  • On narrow screens, actions that don't fit collapse into an overflow menu, they're all still there, just tucked behind one extra click.
