Recruiterflow posts your open roles to Indeed, and brings completed applications straight back into your pipeline without any manual reposting, separate portal to check. This article covers turning on job board posting, publishing individual jobs to Indeed, and what to expect once Indeed Apply is live.
Before you start
An active, paying Recruiterflow plan. Trial accounts aren't eligible for job board posting.
An Indeed Employer account. Create one free at employers.indeed.com if you don't have one already.
Admin access in Recruiterflow, to turn on job board posting for your workspace.
Step 1: Enable Indeed job posting
Click your account icon in the top right corner and go to Settings → General Settings.
Under Job Board Settings, check Enable Indeed and SimplyHired job posting.
(Optional) Enter the email address associated with your Indeed Employer account. Use the same email you log into Indeed with, this is what Indeed uses to verify your postings, and a mismatched email is the most common reason a job doesn't sync correctly.
Click Save.
Step 2: Loop in Recruiterflow support to connect your account
Checking the box above turns job posting on for your workspace, but Indeed still has to link your Recruiterflow job feed to your specific Employer account before applications can flow back automatically.
Message Recruiterflow support once you've enabled the checkbox in Step 1.
We'll share your workspace's feed URL with Indeed's partner team on your behalf.
Indeed typically completes their side of the connection quickly once they receive it.
Until this step is complete, your jobs may still get picked up by Indeed's organic crawler, but Indeed Apply and automatic application sync into Recruiterflow won't work yet.
Step 3: Post an individual job to Indeed
The workspace setting doesn't push every job automatically, you choose which jobs go out, one at a time:
Open the job from the Jobs page.
In Job Settings, confirm Visibility is set to External. Internal, Unlisted, and Confidential jobs are never sent to job boards.
Make sure the job has a real, text-based description and at least one location with both a city and country filled in.
Click Finish.
What to expect once a job is live
Allow 12–24 hours for a new or edited job to appear on Indeed. This is Indeed's own crawl and review schedule — not something Recruiterflow controls or can speed up.
Candidates who apply through Indeed Apply are created automatically in Recruiterflow and added to the job's pipeline, tagged Source: Indeed, so they're reportable like any other channel.
Whatever fields and screener questions are live on the job's own application form are what the Indeed applicant sees — there's no separate Indeed-only questionnaire to build or maintain.
FAQ
Do I need a paid Indeed account to use this?
No. Posting jobs through Recruiterflow to Indeed is free. A paid Indeed account is only needed if you also want sponsored, boosted placement, which is set up and billed entirely through Indeed, not Recruiterflow.
I completed Step 1, but my job still isn't posting. What's wrong?
Check two things: first, that the job itself has listed as external, enabling the workspace setting doesn't post every job automatically. Second, confirm Recruiterflow support has finished connecting your feed with Indeed (Step 2); until that's done, automatic application sync won't work even if the job shows up.
Why don't Indeed applications match my job's usual notification pattern?
Indeed Apply candidates are created and added to your pipeline the same way any other applicant is, so your normal notification settings apply. If you're not seeing a notification for a specific candidate, check that candidate's stage and activity log before assuming the application didn't arrive.
