Unsubscribing (and Resubscribing) Candidates and Contacts from Emails

Stop outbound emails to a candidate or contact in Recruiterflow, and resubscribe them when needed.

Unsubscribing a candidate or contact stops all outbound emails to them from Recruiterflow β€” including emails sent manually and through Sequences. Use this when someone has asked to opt out, or when you need to pause communication for any reason.

How to unsubscribe a candidate or contact

  1. Open the candidate or contact's profile

  2. Click the three dots (β‹―) next to their name

  3. Select Unsubscribe

The profile is marked as unsubscribed and no further emails will be sent to them.

How to resubscribe

To re-enable emails for a previously unsubscribed profile, follow the same steps and select Subscribe. Emails will resume from that point forward.

Things to know

  • Unsubscribing applies to all email types β€” manual emails and Sequence emails are both blocked.

  • The profile itself is not affected. All existing activity, notes, and history remain intact.

  • This applies per profile. If the same person exists as both a candidate and a contact, you'll need to unsubscribe each profile separately.
