When a candidate or contact is unsubscribed, they're excluded from all sequence emails. Resubscribing them re-enables email outreach so they can be added to sequences again.
How to resubscribe someone
Open the candidate or contact's profile
Click the three-dot menu (⋯) next to their name
Select Subscribe from the dropdown
The person is now resubscribed and can receive sequence emails again.
Example
A candidate opted out of emails six months ago. They've reached back out expressing interest, and you want to add them to a new nurture sequence. Open their profile, click the three-dot menu, select Subscribe, and they're ready to receive emails again.
Things to know
Resubscribing someone overrides their unsubscribed status — only do this if the person has explicitly re-consented to receiving emails from you.
If a candidate unsubscribes via an email link, their status updates automatically in Recruiterflow. Resubscribing manually is the only way to reverse this.
The Subscribe/Unsubscribe option is available on both candidate and contact profiles.
