Domain authentication improves email deliverability by proving to mailbox providers (like Gmail and Outlook) that you're authorized to send emails from your domain. This helps you improve the deliverability of your marketing emails.
What You'll Need
Access to your domain's DNS settings (through your domain host like GoDaddy, Cloudflare, Namecheap, etc.)
Permission to add DNS records
About 10 minutes to complete the setup
Setup Steps
1. Navigate to Domain Authentication Settings
Go to Settings in your Recruiterflow account
Click Automation Settings
Select the Domain Authentication tab
β
2. Select Your Domain
Click the domain dropdown menu
Choose the domain you want to authenticate (these are pulled from your email aliases in Recruiterflow)
3. Add DNS Records
You'll see a table with DNS records that need to be added to your domain host
Click Copy next to each value (or copy the entire table)
Log in to your domain host (GoDaddy, Cloudflare, etc.)
Find your DNS or Zone settings
β
βAdd each record exactly as shown:
Type: CNAME
Host/Name: Copy exactly as shown
Value: Copy exactly as shown
TTL: Leave as default
Important tips:
Some providers automatically add your domain name. If you see your domain already in the interface, only enter the Host/Name part before the domain
For Cloudflare users: Set records to DNS-only (grey cloud, not orange)
Don't add quotes around values
β
4. Verify Your Domain
Return to Recruiterflow
Check the box "I have added these records"
Click Verify records
Verification usually completes within minutes, but DNS updates can take up to 24-48 hours.
Verification Status
Success: Your domain is verified and ready for sending
Pending: DNS records haven't propagated yet. Wait and try verifying again in a few hours
Failed: Double-check your DNS entries match exactly, then verify again
