Duplicate Companies Detection Agent: Notifications

What triggers the scan-complete notification, who gets it, and where to find it.

Written by Amogh Balikai

Since a Duplicate Companies Detection Agent scan takes around 10 minutes to run in the background, Recruiterflow notifies you the moment it's done instead of making you wait on the page.

What triggers it

The notification fires once, automatically, when a scan you triggered finishes — whether you're still on the agent page or you navigated away entirely.

Who gets it

Only the admin who clicked Run now for that specific run receives the notification. Other admins on the account don't get notified about a scan they didn't trigger.

Where it shows up

  • In-app: a Recruiterflow notification reading "Duplicate scan complete — X clusters found," with a direct link to your results.

  • Email: the same message sent to the triggering admin's inbox, also linking straight to the results page.

Things to know

  • There's no setting to turn this notification off separately — it's tied to triggering a scan.

  • Clicking either notification takes you directly to the results page, not the agent landing page.
