Grouping and Filtering the Time to Scout Report

Every Group By and Filter option available on the Time to Scout Report, and how to combine them.

Written by Amogh Balikai

The Time to Scout Report supports one grouping at a time, plus any combination of filters layered on top.

Group By options (default: Job Search Lead → User):

  • Job Role (User / Team / Manager)

  • Lead Owner (User / Team / Manager)

  • Stage Moved By (User / Team / Manager)

  • Added to Job By (User / Team / Manager)

  • Job Company

  • Department

  • Engagement Type

  • Contact

  • Job, Company, or Candidate custom fields (Single Select, Multi Select, Yes/No, User type)

Filters

Filters mirror the Group By list above, with one addition — you can also filter directly by Job. Multiple filters can be applied at the same time; they narrow the same underlying dataset that Group By breaks apart.

Practical example

An ops lead wants to compare scouting speed for retained roles only, broken down by department. They filter Engagement Type to Retained, then group by Department — the bar graph now shows one bar per department, scoped to retained jobs only.

Things to know

  • Multiple Group By can be active at a time — you can nest two groupings.

  • If a Job Role has no user assigned, that group renders as an NA bar rather than being dropped from the chart.
