Overview: Time to Hire Report

What the Time to Hire Report measures, who it's for, and where to find it under Reports.

Written by Amogh Balikai

The Time to Hire Report shows you how long a candidate spends in your pipeline before getting hired — measured from the day they're added to a job to the day they're hired.

This is a candidate-journey metric. It doesn't care when the job opened or how long it took to find the candidate — it only measures what happens once someone is in your pipeline.

For sourcing speed, see the Time to Scout Report; for full role-closure timelines, see Time to Fill.

Use this report when you want to know: "Once we have the right person in the pipeline, how long does it take to close them?"

It's useful for agency owners and recruiting managers spotting bottlenecks in interview-to-offer stages, and for benchmarking candidate experience across recruiters or job types.

What it does not do:

It doesn't account for sourcing time before the candidate was added, and it doesn't include candidates who are still active in a pipeline — only those who've reached Hired.
