Select multiple records from a table and clone them into the other profile type in one action, instead of opening each profile.
What bulk clone does
Bulk clone creates a Contact from each selected Candidate, or a Candidate from each selected Contact. Use it when a batch of people should exist as both, for example candidates who are also hiring managers, or contacts you now want to submit to jobs.
To clone one person, see the single-profile clone article instead.
How to bulk clone
Open the Candidates or Contacts table.
Select the checkbox next to each record you want to clone.
Open the bulk actions menu and click Clone as Contact (from Candidates) or Clone as Candidate (from Contacts).
Confirm the action.
Recruiterflow processes the batch in the background. You can keep working.
When the batch finishes, you receive an email with the result, including any records that could not be cloned.
Example
You attended a conference and added 60 attendees as Candidates. Twenty turn out to be hiring managers. Filter the table, select those 20, and click Clone as Contact. Twenty Contact profiles are created without opening a single profile.
Things to know
Cloning creates new records. It does not convert or delete the originals.
Large batches finish in the background, so results may take a few minutes.
Records that fail are listed as errors in the email. Records that succeed are still created.
One direction per action: you cannot mix candidates and contacts in one selection.
