Job boards that support remote work — Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, We Work Remotely, and others — let candidates filter for fully remote or hybrid roles. To make sure your job shows up in those filters, set the Job remote status field on the job.
How to set a job as Remote or Hybrid
Go to the Jobs page.
Click the three dots on the job card and choose Edit.
Open the Settings tab.
Set Job remote status to Remote for fully remote roles or Hybrid for hybrid roles.
Click Save.
The change syncs to job boards on the next refresh.
What about the location?
Add a city, state, and country to the job's Location section even for remote jobs. Most job boards still need a location to surface the listing in regional searches. For a fully remote role, use the company HQ's city, state, and country.
Note: Some job boards won't accept a remote job listing without a city and state on file, even if the role itself is fully remote.
Practical example
You're hiring a fully remote Software Engineer at a US-based startup headquartered in Austin. On the job, set Job remote status to Remote and the Location to Austin, Texas, United States. The job appears on LinkedIn and Indeed under their remote filters and still shows up for candidates searching jobs in the US.
Things to know
Each job board interprets "Remote" and "Hybrid" slightly differently. If a posting isn't appearing in the expected filter, check the board's own definition of remote and hybrid.
Setting remote status doesn't change anything inside Recruiterflow itself — the field only affects how the job is broadcast to external boards.
For hybrid roles, the Location matters more than for fully remote roles, since candidates are expected to be near it.
