Follow-up Email Agent FAQ

Common questions about the Follow-up Email Agent — voice, tone, bulk generation, scheduling, and more.

Written by Amogh Balikai

Does the follow-up email sound like AI wrote it?

No — AIRA infers your writing voice passively from your sent email history, so the draft is grounded in the actual call transcript and written to sound like you, not like a generic AI template.

Can I generate follow-ups for multiple calls at once?

Not currently. The Follow-up Email Agent works call-by-call — there's no bulk generation across multiple calls.

Can I schedule a follow-up to send later instead of right away?

Not currently. There's no snooze or scheduled-send option for follow-up drafts. You review and send (or dismiss) when the draft is ready.

Do I need to train AIRA on my writing style?

No. There's no voice-training setup. AIRA passively learns your style from your sent email history over time.

What if I edit the draft heavily before sending?

Go ahead — the compose window is fully editable. Editing doesn't affect whether the email is logged as an AIRA-generated follow-up.

Does this work for internal meetings too?

The agent evaluates any Notetaker call for follow-up signals, but it's most useful for candidate and client calls where next steps or commitments typically come up.

What happens if I don't have a connected inbox?

The agent won't run for you at all — no draft, no notification, and it won't be listed as an available action on your call records. See Setting Up the Follow-up Email Agent.
